(Benefits of having a blog)
- If you are a procrastinator.
The excitement will get you moving and determined to finish stuff you’ve been delaying, and that is just because you’re now thrilled to post it and share it on your blog.
- If you’ve been thinking about starting or going on with that project, but you’re not sure or motivated yet.
Thinking that you’ll be writing about and sharing your experience while working on the project and share the project itself, will motivate you and make you want to be more active and serious about it.
- If you have plenty of free time and you’re not using it well.
- If you have a stack of books you wish to finish as soon as you can, and being in a book club is just not enough to help you finish your reading list by the end of the year. Well, wanting to write a review or anything about the book gets you hooked on it until you finish it and that bookmark won’t stay on the same page for too long.
- If you’re a non-English speaker, and you think you’re not practising your English enough. With your blog you will be writing, and you’ll be serious about writing correctly and writing good stuff, which is one of the greatest ways to practice and sharpen your English.
- If you want to feel like you’re doing something about your CV- which may not be so impressive these days. At the end, your potential employers can check your blog and see many things your “simple” CV can’t demonstrate.
- If you wish to join an online community and maybe meet some of them. Or get to know people who just think and reflect about living on planet earth and love to talk about it.
- If you often have something you wish to say to the world.
- If you love to share stuff online and social media is just not enough.
